Day 1: Marrakech Arrival
Welcome to Morocco!
You probably arrive at Marrakech Menara airport. We pick you up and bring you to your hotel. The rest of the day you have time to acclimatize and free time to discover the impressive ‘red city’ Marrakech.
You could visit Djemaa El Fnaa, drink some delicious fresh fruit juice, enjoy the snake-charmers and wander around in the souks. Don’t forget to bargain if you want to buy something!

Day 2: Marrakech - Ifergane (at the foothill of the Anti-Atlas) the mountains
On the second day, we start with a 7-hour drive to Ifergane. This is the longest drive we have during this holiday.
During this ride, we will stop at the Tizi-n-Test pass to enjoy the view over the High Atlas Mountains. During some months of the year, the Tizi-n-Test pass is covered in snow. Always a strange idea: snow in Morocco. But it’s there.
Ifergane is an Amazigh village and it is located at the foothill of the Anti-Atlas. The Amazigh-people are the indigenous people of Morocco (also known as ‘Berbers). The children can play with the local kids and maybe enjoy a game of football. A very popular sport.
We will spend the night in a riad (Moroccan guest house).

Day 3: Ifergane (Taroudannt)
In the morning we walk around in the green oasis and the villages around it. The children can -optionally- take a ride on a mule.
In the afternoon we drive to Taroudannt, also known as ‘little Marrakech’. Taroudannt is a very authentic village with a big square and souks to explore. It’s like taking a few steps back in time and entering the fairytale of 1001-nights.
You get eyes and ears when we enter the souks with craftsmen, fresh herbs, flour that is being ground, and the butcher. We visit the tanneries to show you how leather is produced from animal skins.
We spend the night in a riad (Moroccan guest house).

Day 4: Taroudant to Agadir the beach
Today we’ll mount our mini-bus again to ride for 3.5 hours through the Souss plain to the Taghazout beach. This gives you an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views and the impressive landscape.
The rest of the day is off so you can relax at the sandy beach and have some free time with your family. We will stay at a hotel.

Day 5: Agadir to Essaouira
We take a 1.5 hours drive to Sidi Kaouki.
We have a picnic lunch at the beach. Afterward, we will take a camel ride through the sand dunes. Of course, this is a ‘must’ if you visit Morocco and an adventurous way to enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Next, we take a 30-minute ride to Essaouira. Essaouira is a very laidback artists’ town with a rich past. It was occupied by the French and the Portuguese. It was once home to British and Jewish populations, and also known for its famous visitors like Jimmy Hendrix, Cat Stevens, Orson Welles, and Sir Winston Churchill. It is an idyllic place to explore, surrounded by sandy beaches and dunes.
Scenes of the famous series ‘Games of Throne's were shot here.
We will stay at a riad.

Day 6: Explore Essaouira: Essaouira City Tour
This morning we have a 3-hour city tour with a local city guide to discover all the ins and outs of beautiful Essaouira.
In the afternoon you have free time to roam around in Essaouira or relax at the beach by yourself. You can enjoy the nice climate and laid-back atmosphere at your own pace.

Day 7: Essaouira to Marrakech
Today we take a ride of 3 hours that will bring us back to bustling Marrakech.
In the afternoon we have a city walk through the old center of Marrakech to visit the highlights of Moroccan culture in Marrakech.
